Most of the instruments we make at White Guitars are custom orders for individuals who contact us and get on the build list. However, several times a year I come across a stunning piece of Koa or hardwood that inspires me to build something special from it or I'll have a dream about a design feature or inlay that really grabs me. For example, last year I had a conversation with James Hill about his ukuleles and immediately went home and built a Koa Spruce Cutaway that was inspired by our conversation. The year before, I had a dream about walking out to the lava flow at Kalapana and decided I should try to reflect this awesome experience with a custom inlay. I post these unique instruments as they become available on my website so anyone can buy directly from me as well as from my representatives.
